What is Opera Under the Stars about?
Experience an unforgettable evening of opera under the desert sky at Opera Under the Stars, presented by the Palm Springs Opera Guild in collaboration with the City of Rancho Mirage and the Coachella Valley Symphony. The featured work this year is highlights from Strauss’ hilarious Die Fledermaus.
Last year’s performance was a complete sellout, so plan to arrive early to secure your seat! This beloved community event promises another spectacular evening of world-class opera in a beautiful outdoor setting, with the full Coachella Valley Symphony under the direction of John Mario and six professional up and coming opera singers.
Evening details
Doors open at 6:00pm, and all guests enter through the West Gate. A section is reserved for Guild members and their registered guests, and all other seating is first come, first served. Complimentary valet parking is available in the West parking lot. Food and drinks are available for purchase, and outside food and beverages are not permitted. Only service dogs are allowed. Guests who need accessibility accommodations may request them at the East Gate.
