Opera in the Park is Palm Springs’ premier cultural event every Spring. This free annual concert showcases beloved opera arias, duets, and ensembles performed by six accomplished opera professionals. Drawing thousands of attendees from across Southern California and beyond, it’s a spectacular celebration of opera in the heart of the desert.
Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic (or pre-order dinner—see the Event Calendar for details) and enjoy a day of breathtaking music. For those seeking reserved seating, limited space in the Main Stage and Café d’Opera areas is available for purchase. Opera in the Park – Join us on Sunday, March 29 at 5:30 PM for Opera in the Park—a free outdoor concert that brings the magic of live opera to the heart of the community!
Featuring professional opera singers and a full orchestra, this unforgettable evening of music will be set against the backdrop of a beautiful spring sunset.
Tables and chairs in the main event area will be available to reserve for a nominal fee. Each reserved table includes 6 chairs. Individual reserved chairs will be located directly behind row 8. Guests are also welcome to bring their own lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the concert picnic-style in the open lawn area outside of the reserved seating section.
Make the evening even more enjoyable by purchasing delicious bites, savory snacks, refreshing beverages, and frozen treats from our two exclusive on-site vendors, The Butler Did It Catering and Gelato Granucci. Their specially curated event menus will feature an array of options, including hearty savory topped baked potatoes, a delightful selection of gelato flavors, a variety of beverages, and additional food, snacks, and sweet treats to suit every taste.
