The Legacy Society honors a special community of donors who provide for the Palm Springs Opera Guild through their estate plans or through structured gifts made during their lifetimes.
Classic Legacy donors arrange future gifts through a will, trust or beneficiary designation. Living Legacy donors make planned gifts now through charitable vehicles that may also offer financial or tax advantages. Together, these visionary supporters strengthen the Guild’s future for generations to come.

Classic Legacy Gifts
Arrange a future gift to the Guild as part of your estate plan.
- Include the Guild in your Will or Trust. Designate a fixed amount, a percentage of your estate, or a specific asset such as securities, personal property, or real estate to the Palm Springs Opera Guild.
- Name the Palm Springs Opera Guild as the beneficiary of a bank or retirement account, eligible pension benefit, investment account, life insurance policy, or donor-advised fund.
Living Legacy Gifts
Support the Guild during your lifetime through structured charitable gifts.
- Make planned qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) from your IRA or annual gifts from your donor-advised fund.
- Establish a charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, or charitable lead trust.
We encourage all Legacy Society members to discuss the various planned giving options with their attorney or financial advisor to decide what is best for them and their family.
