What is the National Vocal Competition Final Round about?

Experience the excitement of tomorrow’s opera stars as they compete in the final round of the Palm Springs Opera Guild’s National Vocal Competition.

Now expanded to a national competition, this prestigious event attracts some of the nation’s most promising young opera singers, all competing for more than $30,000 in prize money. These awards provide meaningful financial support to emerging artists as they pursue advanced training and launch their professional careers.

Audiences will enjoy an inspiring day of exceptional performances while witnessing the next generation of operatic talent. Many past competitors have gone on to perform with leading opera companies throughout the United States and around the world—artists such as Sondra Radvanovsky, Angela Meade, and Angel Blue, to name just a few.

The Palm Springs Opera Guild is proud to invest in the future of opera. Through the extraordinary generosity of our donors, members, and sponsors, this competition provides vital career support for these exceptional young artists while helping to ensure that the next generation of great operatic voices continues to flourish.

Join us for this thrilling celebration of artistry and excellence and be among the first to discover the remarkable voices that will shape the future of opera.
