The Palm Springs Opera Guild is proud to have a volunteer team known for its exceptional service, professionalism, and unmatched hospitality. As some of the first faces our guests encounter, volunteers serve as gracious ambassadors of the Guild—setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. We strive to make volunteering both meaningful and enjoyable where great friendships are formed and a shared love of the arts is celebrated.
Volunteers assist with a variety of event responsibilities, including:
- Greeting guests and distributing programs
- Scanning reservations and assisting with check-in
- Helping patrons locate assigned seating
- Providing general support with warmth and enthusiasm
If you’re passionate about opera and enjoy connecting with others, we’d love to have you join our volunteer team.
Volunteer Criteria
To ensure a smooth and positive experience for all, volunteers must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Be able to stand for up to one hour
- Maintain a cheerful, welcoming attitude
- Demonstrate a willingness to assist guests and staff as needed
