LEGACY SOCIETY
We also encourage you to join the Palm Springs Opera Guild of the Desert Legacy Society. In addition to the financial and tax benefits often associated with planned gifts, Legacy Members receive recognition in programs published for Guild events, name(s) listed on a Recognition Plaque to be placed in the Guild office and invitations to social events solely for Legacy Society members. There are many ways to make a current or planned gift to the Guild – cash, stocks, trusts, real estate, gifts of retirement assets, etc. – how do you find out which one is most advantageous for you? A Palm Springs Opera Guild of the Desert Development Committee member will be available to meet with you to discuss any questions regarding the Legacy Society program prior to your consulting with your estate and tax planning financial advisors. Please contact Kathy Sanders by email at operaguild@verizon.net or at (760) 325-6107 for further information.
PHOTOS FROM RECENT MEMBERSHIP EVENTS
One of the most recent membership events was a fundraiser honoring Gary Hall, Senior Vice President/Wealth Advisor Wells Fargo Private Bank and one of the Coachella Valley’s foremost philanthropists. The Gala raised nearly $90,000 to support the Opera Guild’s numerous outreach community programs. A crowd of 150 elegantly attired guests attended this event on the evening of Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort in Rancho Mirage, Ca. Hosted by the Palm Springs Opera Guild Board and Co-chaired by Jean C. Carrus and Donald Osborne, the event featured a California cuisine three course dinner, dancing, and entertainment by Pat McCaffrey and the Whiz Kids Band.
Following are photos of some of the generous attendees posing with Gary as well as the program co-chairs and presenters:
