The 2011 Vocal Competition featured several outstanding singers who are embarking on exciting careers.  This Guild tradition of honoring and encouraging young opera singers will be repeated on Saturday, December 1, 2012, when the Guild will present the 29th Annual Vocal Competition at the Rancho Mirage Public Library.  Ten promising young opera singers will compete for scholarships.  A distinguished panel of professionals will judge their performance skills and award significant cash prizes.  Many of our previous winners have launched impressive careers and perform regularly with major opera companies around the world.
